Effie Triantafilopoulos has dedicated her career to strengthening communities, growing businesses, and supporting families. As a seasoned business leader and advocate, she has worked with Canadian companies to create jobs and expand trade, serving in leadership roles with the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association, the Canada-U.S. Business Association, and Ontario Exports Inc.
Her experience in government includes senior advisory roles in key economic portfolios, where she played a role in implementing the Canada-U.S. Free Trade Agreement and supporting international trade growth. She also served as Deputy Director for the 2010 G20 Summit in Canada.
Beyond business and government, Effie is deeply committed to giving back. As the former CEO of Save the Children Canada, she worked to protect and uplift children across the country and worldwide. She has also been active in numerous community organizations, including the Hellenic Heritage Foundation and the International Women’s Forum. Effie’s passion for service is rooted in her Greek heritage and strong family values, which continue to guide her work today.
